It is a basic tying thread that has a flat structure and is mainly used for attaching materials to the hook shank or as a carrier thread for dubbing.
The thread consists of multiple capillaries, i.e. threads that are not connected by a twist, so there is no problem dubbing between the threads. In the case of small flies #16 and above, a smooth body can be created.
